Storm Collectibles Brings the Karas Anime to Life
Storm Collectibles is expanding their already loaded catalog with figures from the anime Karas. The popular Hong Kong based manufacturer’s newest additions could be a hit with both anime fans and action figure collectors.
The two figures, representing the characters Otoha and the Predecessor Karas, come in 1/12 scale with accessories, including a sword and interchangeable hands. For more information and images, check out BigBadToyStore’s Karas Otoha and BigBadToyStore’s Predecessor Karas’ respective product pages.
Based on Storm Collectibles’ previous releases, one can expect these figures to possess sturdy builds. With that said, though, and judging by the images provided, some of the articulation appears to be slightly limited in some areas based on the armor design.
I saw the Karas anime as it was released on two DVD’s back in the 2000s, entitled Karas: The Prophecy and Karas: The Revelation. There is also a one-shot comic book that was published by Dark Horse Comics in 2004. As someone who enjoyed those, it’s a pleasant surprise to see the property return in any form.
